Day by Day
6/24/2008 – 9:29 am | by Mary
I don’t really have the mental capacity to form whole paragraphs and thoughts so I figured I’d type things as they come to me. I feel the need to put up something since I get tired of seeing the same post up day after day. I know you guys love it, though, reading the same thing over and over - don’t play. You can’t lie to me!
- Just checked my email and saw that Islands is sending a gift card.
- I hope it comes this week because I’m broke after buying that bedding.
- R is pissed at me for buying said bedding.
- I can’t figure out if it’s because I spent money I shouldn’t be spending on what I was spending it on.
- Or, if he’s upset that I am changing everything around so quickly after he left.
- Cuz, I also rearranged the living room.
- I think it’s something psychological that I want to change everything around from how it looked when he was here.
- But I can see why he would think I would want things to remain the same.
- At any rate, he’s not going to admit it.
- Ever.
- His towel is still hanging in the bathroom.
- Not that he has ONE towel but the towel he used before he left.
- I did a ton of laundry this weekend but I couldn’t take the towel down.
- Our bedroom looks nothing like it did 2 weeks ago.
- And I switched around the living room.
- But leave up a towel.
- Don’t worry, I confuse even myself.
- Co-workers are so f’ing annoying.
- The places may change yet the characters remain the same.
- My personal favorite is the one that gives you the laundry list of their health problems.
- In painstaking, TMI detail.
- Hold on…
- Okay.
- I checked my title and it is, in fact, project coordinater.
- Not “company nurse”.
- I have a thought, though.
- Stop smoking and drinking a 12-pack of Dr. Pepper every day!
- These are good.
- And these? Surprisingly good!
- That, in a nutshell, is what I had for dinner last night.
- You can say the cooking takes a hit when R is gone.
- I really need to get back in the swing of things.
- I’m really tired of hearing myself say that.
- You probably are, too.
- I’ll go now.
- I have ailments to diagnose.
- Mine?
- Broken heart.
- Haha. Kidding.
- More like melodramaticitis.
Happy Tuesday.

I love skinny cows. Trust me when I say all of their stuff is mmm…good! I just ate a bagel with melted mozzarella and tomato(I know the deli owner…and he grows his own…so he says, LOL) and oh how I love these, my gut does not though. I need to find my mojo again, come on Mare, lets find it together :) I love the bedding! Hooray for gift cards and I felt a twinge of pain when you said you left his towel up, I so get that.

I love the bedding, but whenever I find something good to buy I am poor. Too poor even with a coupon, LOL.

I keep eyeing up the Skinny Cow thingies when I’m at the grocery store but never quite make it to buying them. I have NOT seen the new Lean Pockets though and now I really want one.
I haven’t ate yet today and my stomach is protesting. I’m still trying to decide if I can drink now and call in sick later to my friend. Dang the bday trump card. She gave in to the kid and now the kid is coming along too which means I have to pay for her as well… and she always orders a $20 steak.
You kept the towel because it has an essence, however minute of him. The living room arrangement, not so much. ;)

I hope R comes back soon, I know how you feel I couldn’t touch or move anything at my guys house, I was thinking “he touched that last”. Weird but I just couldn’t. I wouldn’t even watch his flat panel TV because I know how much he loved it and I felt bad watching it if he couldn’t.

I rearranged the living room furniture after Beetle left. It made me feel better but I know I’ll probably move it all back before he gets home.

Yay for redecorating! I still don’t feel completely finished with mine, but I’m out of juice. Maybe I’ll be inspired tomorrow :-)
